Importing Your Website
Point your agent at your own site and let it read the pages into its knowledge base.
Where It Lives
Open the My AI Agent card, press Edit Agent, and open the FAQs / Knowledge Base section. The Import from website button sits with the knowledge-base controls.
Starting an Import
Press Import from website and enter your website address. The import starts straight away and runs in the background — you can close the page and it keeps going. The section shows progress while it reads.
What It Reads
It discovers the pages on your site, then reads the most useful ones rather than everything it finds; the summary tells you how many pages it found and how many it read. From those it writes question-and-answer entries into your knowledge base, which your agent can then retrieve on any channel.
What It Skips, and Why
The summary names what was left out: duplicates, pages in other languages, topics already covered in your knowledge base, and anything too incomplete to answer from. A page being skipped is usually the import avoiding a near-copy of something you already have.
Re-Importing Later
Running it again replaces the entries from your previous import, so a refreshed site does not leave stale answers behind. Entries you wrote or edited yourself are KEPT — the replacement only reclaims what the previous import created.
Checking It Worked
After an import the section tests a handful of questions against what was written and tells you whether they all retrieve an answer. If some do not, the import is still live — it is telling you those particular answers may not reach callers, which usually means the site does not cover that topic in words a caller would use.
Editing the Result
Everything the import wrote appears in the knowledge-base list below, where you can edit or delete any entry. Nothing is locked because it came from a crawl.
How Often
You can import your website once a day. If you have already run one today, the button tells you to try again tomorrow.
