Website Builder Guide
Create, customize, and publish a professional website using the AI-powered Website Builder.
Getting Started
Open the FONE app and open the Integrations card for your agent. Find the Website Builder panel and press Open Website Builder. The first time, you are asked for your company name to create the site, and a URL slug is generated for you — for example web.onedashzero.ai/your-company.
The Builder Screen
The builder fills the screen: your page on the left, and a chat column on the right with Preview, Settings and Publish buttons across the top, plus a camera button for uploading an image. A collapsible Instructions panel sits above the chat box and summarizes these controls.
Creating Pages
Your site starts with a Home page. To add more, type an instruction into the chat — for example, add an About Us page. You can create top-level pages, sub-pages that appear as dropdown menus, and widget links that open the chat widget instead of navigating to a page.
Generating Sections with AI
Pick a page, then describe what you want in the chat box and press Send — for example, create a hero section with our company tagline and a Book Now button. The AI writes one section at a time. To change an existing section, click it on the canvas first so it is selected, then describe the change; the label beside Send tells you whether a section is selected. You can also attach an image and ask for something in that style.
Site Settings
Press Settings in the builder toolbar. A Builder Settings panel opens on the right with three collapsible groups: Site Settings, Page Settings for the page you are editing, and Redirects. Site Settings holds Company Name, Accent Color, Secondary Accent, Title Font, Body Font, Content Tone, Site URL Slug, Custom Domain and a Business Info block for local search. Fonts come from Google Fonts, and the tone shapes how the AI writes your copy. Press Save Settings when you are done — the panel does not save on its own.
Content Tone Options
Content Tone offers Professional, Formal, Casual, Friendly, Witty, Fun and Playful, Luxurious, Bold and Edgy, Warm and Personal, and Minimal and Clean.
Page URLs and Redirects
Page Settings sets the address of the page you are editing; use a slash for nested paths, such as industries/architects. Redirects sends an old address to a new one, as a 301 for a permanent move or a 302 for a temporary one, and the target can be a path on your site or a full external URL.
Logo and Favicon
To set a logo, attach an image in the chat and say to set it as your logo. It then appears in the navigation bar. To set a favicon — the small icon in the browser tab — attach an image and say to set it as your favicon. PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, SVG and ICO are accepted, up to 5MB.
Previewing and Publishing
Preview shows you the site as visitors will see it. Publish compiles every page and makes the site live at web.onedashzero.ai/your-slug. Publishing builds the navigation for desktop and mobile, includes the chat widget and shopping cart, and writes SEO titles and descriptions for each page. Changes you make in the builder are not live until you press Publish.
Custom Domains
In Site Settings, enter your custom domain — for example www.yourbusiness.com. Then, at your DNS provider, point a CNAME record for that domain to your-slug.web.onedashzero.ai. Once DNS has propagated, your site answers on your own domain.
Reordering and Deleting
Use the chat to reorder pages, reorder sections, or delete one. To delete a whole section, say so explicitly and name the section — a vague instruction will not trigger a delete, deliberately. Changes show in the builder immediately; Publish makes them live.
Deleting Your Site
Deleting the site is not done inside the builder. Go back to the Integrations card, open the Website Builder panel, and press Delete Website below the site link. You are asked to confirm, and then to type your agent name exactly to prove you meant it. Deletion removes every page, section and published copy permanently.
