Website Builder Guide
Create, customize, and publish a professional website using the AI-powered Website Builder.
Getting Started
Open the FONE app and tap on your agent card. Scroll to the Website Builder integration and tap "Open Website Builder." If this is your first time, enter your company name to create your site. A URL slug is generated automatically (e.g., web.onedashzero.ai/your-company).
Creating Pages
Your site starts with a Home page and a Contact Us widget link. To add pages, use the AI chat to say something like "Add an About Us page." You can create top-level pages, sub-pages (which appear as dropdown menus), and widget links (which open the chat widget instead of navigating to a page).
Generating Sections with AI
Select a page, then type a description of what you want in the chat. For example: "Create a hero section with our company tagline and a Book Now button." The AI generates a fully responsive HTML section. You can also upload or paste an image of a design you like and say "Make it look like this." To edit an existing section, select it and describe the changes.
Site Settings
Tap the gear icon to open Site Settings. Here you can change your Company Name, Accent Color (primary and secondary), Title Font, Body Font, Content Tone (professional, luxurious, fun, formal, warm, or bold), URL Slug, and Custom Domain. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. The tone influences how the AI writes copy for your sections.
Logo & Favicon
To set a logo, attach an image in the AI chat and say "Set this as my logo." The logo appears in the navigation bar. To set a favicon (the small icon in the browser tab), attach an image and say "Set this as my favicon." Supported formats: PNG, JPEG, GIF, WebP, SVG, and ICO.
Publishing Your Site
Tap the "Publish" button to compile all pages and make your site live. Your site is accessible at web.onedashzero.ai/your-slug. Publishing generates navigation (desktop and mobile hamburger menu), includes the chat widget and shopping cart, and auto-generates SEO meta titles and descriptions for each page.
Custom Domains
In Site Settings, enter your custom domain (e.g., www.yourbusiness.com). Then point a CNAME record for that domain to your-slug.web.onedashzero.ai at your DNS provider. After DNS propagates, your site will be accessible at your custom domain.
Managing Sections & Pages
Use the AI chat to reorder pages ("Move About Us before Services"), reorder sections ("Move the hero above the testimonials"), or delete sections and pages. All changes are reflected in the builder preview immediately. Publish to make them live.
Deleting Your Site
In the Website Builder, scroll down to the Danger Zone and tap "Delete Website." You will be asked to confirm twice. Deleting removes all pages, sections, and published content permanently.
